Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a cozy stay with rooms that are a bit on the small side but have traditional decor. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. Its location just outside of San Gimignano provides a beautiful setting. The dining options are good with a continental selection, and the facilities are well-organized.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they were a bit on the small side, with no balcony for drying clothes. The noise level from the ground floor and the adjacent restaurant was quite bothersome. However, the latex mattresses provided some comfort.
The hotel is located just within a stone's throw from San Gimigniano in the quaint village of San Donato, Tuscany, Italy. The rooms, though a bit on the small side without a balcony for airing clothes, were newly reconstructed with a modern design. The service was excellent, with staff remembered us from our last visit. The dining experience, while not perfect, was better than many other hotels in Italy. The location offers incredible beauty and peacefulness, perfect for exploring the region.
My stay at the hotel was cozy and convenient, although not within walking distance from the center. The room, despite being tiny, was nice. The bathroom window could have had fly/mosquito netting, and having opening windows would have been a plus.
My stay at Hotel Le Terre Rosse was pleasant overall, with some minor drawbacks. The rooms were nice but a bit small, lacking a balcony for hanging out towels or clothes to air. The service was very helpful, especially considering the language barrier. The location was insanely relaxing and beautiful, making it a great spot for chilling. The dining experience was alright, not perfect but better than many other hotels in Italy.
